Nadder NIght

Dad and I got up around 6, got some breakfast and hit the road about 7. It was about 250 miles from Amarillo to Oklahoma City, and we wanted to get there by lunch time. The drive from Amarillo was pretty nice, there was lots of huge wind turbines to watch spin as the wind was whipping up pretty good. I found the last part of Texas kind a refreshing as it went from flat to rolling hills with peeks and valleys. Once you get across the border into Oklahoma, the scenery changes to green pastures, so I guess the saying is true to some degree. We passed the place where Garth Brooks was born, lives or something, but they made a big todo about it. They had a big highway sign for Garth Brooks blvd and big grain silo or something with his name all over it. Continue Reading

The Coming Deception

Former President Bill Clinton when asked about aliens.

“It may be the only way to unite us in this incredibly divided world of ours. If they’re out there, we better think of how all the differences among people on Earth would seem small if we felt threatened by a space invader,” Clinton said.

Life Goes On

I have been trying to find a job, its been going slowly. I have added my resume to some of the big job searching sites. I have applied for jobs, and so far have not heard a peep from any of them, I guess this is normal these days. Im sure employers have way to many applicants per job so they can not get back to everyone, or it could be they just done really care, who knows.Continue Reading

Family Vacation

blogEntryTopper

Shawn, Jessica, Caleb, Christopher, Madelyn, Emma and I all went on a family vacation and photos shoot. We went to Mammoth Lakes California, to hang out and to capture some fall color. What a very beautiful place to behold and explore. The first night was a long night, the room was so hot that I had to open the windows up to cool us off. About 1 in the morning, we heard a loud crashing noise of a garbage can being nocked over. I ignored it at first, Continue Reading

My Cool Breeze

blogEntryTopper

Shawn & I went out to Zenfest in Lodi on Saturday, we were meeting David, Ashley, Mark and some of Ashley’s family for the day. We spent the day catching up with friends and sipping wine (well not me, I don’t drink) from the many different wineries that were being represented. There were thousands of people about, chatting, sipping wine and dancing to one of the several bands that were playing. The spot chosen for the festival is Lodi Lake, a small lake with a park and various water ways that go around a the park. It was a perfect day to be out, there was a nice breeze and lots of shade about, everyone was having a good timeContinue Reading

Site Changes again

blogEntryTopper

Hello all,
Well as you can see, I have made some changes to the website. I had been toying with a white theme for a long time, and finally found one I liked using the Sandvox web design tool. I used it for a bit, but found that I was just not as happy with it as wanted to be. I started playing around with Rapidweaver web design software a few months back, and found a theme that I really liked and did a test site, but found it to be not as robust as I had hoped. I decided to look into the software again and did some searching and found this current theme and am very happy with it now. I have learned a lot more about Rapidweaver and decided to go ahead and use it for real for my main website design tool, so here it is.
