My World Blog

I use this section of my Site to blog about various things. I might talk about a photo shoot that I went on, or make a comment about something I have seen or thought about. I might even go on a rant about something. Just an all around place to write stuff.

Three Stooges

I just love this picture of these three little fellas. I can only imagine the conversation they are having, if only I could understand chirps. We might be surprised that they chirp about the same ole things that we do, wouldn't the be interesting. Well if they pass that bill, there will be less

Downtown Lincoln Car Show

Dad and I are at the Downton Lincoln Car Show today showing off the hot rod. A littl over a dozen of our fellow Townsmen club members showed up to share in the event. The Boy Scouts are putting on a pancake breakfast, so we have our bellies full and the sun is shining. That makes for a pretty good

Flowers of the Day

I have had some time recently to get the Macro Lens out and shoot some flowers. Its been cloudy out and that makes for some nice soft light to gaze upon natures beauty. I found the water drop dangling from a Calla Lilly and it just seemed so delicate, I was afraid it would fall off if I moved

15th Annual Townsmen Car Show

As the photographer for the Townsmen Car Club, I spent all day taking Photos of the 231 cars that entered the show on Saturday. A Son Says Wow

Christopher and I took a drive to one of my favorite places, Leslie Gulch. I described the place and told him that he would say wow when he finally saw the place, sure enough he said wow. The place as you can see from the photos, has some amazing scenes of reds and oranges in the rocks.

Headed Home

We left Aunt Sharon’s house this morning at 5:30am, our destination, home. It was a nice crisp morning, low clouds hung in the sky moving quickly off to the south as if in a hurry to get somewhere. The roads were dry after the evenings rain. The darkness of the landscape lit up

NSRA Awards

Dad's 58 was chosen for an award, so he got to park in the inside the building for the day, so that his car was on display under the lights. This was nice for several reasons, one: its was cold and windy outside, and two: the crowd was all pretty much in the building to view the car on display.

A day full of adventure

Dad and I arrived at the show around 6:30 am to a long line of cars waiting to get in the gate. The wind was howling again this morning and the temp outside was a brisk 30 degrees. Needless to say, we had all the windows rolled up, heads adorned with beanies and coats on. Once the sun came up,
