We arrived at the show around 6:30 am to a long line of cars waiting to get in the gate. The wind was howling again this morning and the temp outside was a brisk 30 degrees. Needless to say, we had all the windows rolled up, heads adorned with beanies and coats on. Once the sun came up, I noticed some water spots from last nights washing, so Dad and I had to brave the wind-chill to spit shine the car.

Jessica & Caleb picked my up from the show around 10 so we could go shopping for Max's birthday present. We headed off to the Mall so we could get out of the cold and   hunt for something that Max would like. We ended up having lunch before we found a small Drone with cool lights and a flying saucer shape that he really liked. Sadly, it needed to be charged before he could use it.

After the Mall, we needed to find something else to do that was indoors since the winds were still howling at around 30mph and cold. We decided to go to the Myriad Botanical Gardens, they have a huge Tropical Conservatory. You walk into what looks like a rain forest, there was not a spot in the place that didn't have something growing from it apart from the path that wound its way around. There were some very interesting flowers that I would have loved to photograph with my macro lens, but I didn't have it with me. It was a pretty cool place and I hope to go back with Macro in hand.

After dinner, we headed back to Aunt Sharon's place to help Dad wax and shine the car. The 58 was picked to be in the winner circle at the NSRA show, so we have to make sure it was ready for its runway walk. Jessica, Caleb, Dad and even the grand babies helped get it looking shiny as a new penny.
